teaching

teachingTeaching film & video skills is a big part of Bill’s life. His work with VCAM, a non-profit media and technology center, has him training members of the public in video production skills daily. He has taught college courses in film production and digital video editing at Burlington College’s film school and he has taught individual classes or seminars in film & video production at the University of Vermont and Champlain College. Bill has also instructed students at elementary, middle and high school levels in the craft of filmmaking. Occasionally, Bill works one-on-one with individual students who desire more focused training in a particular skill or piece of software. He is comfortable teaching beginning and intermediate cinematography/videography and digital editing (Final Cut Pro).

In the spring of 2008, Bill is teaching an Introduction to Filmmaking course at the Community College of Vermont.
