Teaching film & video skills is a big part of Bill’s life. His work with VCAM, a non-profit media and technology center, has him training members of the public in video production and post-production skills daily. He has taught college courses in film production and digital video editing at Burlington College and he has taught individual classes or seminars in film & video production at the University of Vermont and Champlain College. Bill has also instructed students at elementary, middle and high school levels in the craft of filmmaking. Occasionally, Bill works one-on-one with individual students who desire more focused training in a particular skill or piece of software. He is comfortable teaching beginning and intermediate cinematography/videography and digital editing (Final Cut Pro).
Bill currently teaches a regular Intro to Filmmaking course at the Community College of Vermont.
